Matthew Bouwmeester
Matthew's elegantly rich and eclectic sound creates a unique mix of textures and intricate orchestral arrangements, enhancing the story's narrative and emotional depth.
Born and raised in a musically-rich family and growing up surrounded by vinyl LPs and records, Matthew found his calling in storytelling for film and television.
After graduating from Middlesex University London in music & record production and additional sound engineering experience, he received the opportunity to work on the Ridley Scott blockbuster Napoleon.
In the following years, he worked on a number of productions for Disney, BBC and National Geographic, including the documentary limited series Cursed Gold and Cold Case Investigators.
Drawing inspiration and channeling influences from his early beginnings, he delivers a flavourful twist on what music can be when supporting a narrative, all the while fulfilling the vision of the director.
